Jabes Omondi Onyango

Jabes has been involved in Shipping and Commodity related businesses for over 12 years in various entrepreneurial roles. Jabes has successfully built entrepreneurial designs in multiple geographies. He is looking to combine his experience and relationships in the shipping industry to start to help to tackle the various financial challenges affecting NEWA Family.

As NEWA Treasurer, Jabes  receives and disburses, under the general direction of the Executive Committee, all moneys belonging to the Association. Jabes also issues receipts for all moneys received by him or her and shall preserve vouchers for all moneys paid by him/her. Overally, Jabes is responsible to the Management Committee and the members and thus is required to maintain proper books of accounts of all moneys received and paid by the Association are written up, preserved and availed for inspection.
