N.E.W.A. field staff
facilitate local community groups to identify, prioritize and resolve issues of
persistent poverty, empowering participants by equipping them with confidence,
skills and resource networks as they act together to improve their lives. We do
this through a nine-step process we call the Participatory Human
Development Process, or PHDP.
Initiative :
N.E.W.A promotes active participation of its members in entrepreneurship opportunities and building a civic society
Technology:
N.E.W.A. explore possibilities of how emerging technology can
help bolster members' potential in agriculture, entrepreneurship, leadership, educational, financial, and cultural awareness.
Tolerance:
We work on topics of cultural and
intercultural dialogue such as drug abuse, diversity, minority rights to build
a more open, diverse, and tolerant society in Kenya.
