As I told you earlier, NEWA Family has partnered with Five stakeholders, both grant agencies and technical partners to promote business activities and descent work among Family members.
The welfare program will be implemented under the title Strengthening Family Ties through Progressive Socio-Economic Programs and will have Three components, each with five outputs.
The first component is Family-Centric Business Development Project and will entail five outputs, namely
- Business incubation and funding,
- Career Coaching,
- Business Plan Development and Implementation,
- Agripreneuership, and Value Chain Addition.
- Wealth Accumulation Grant (Capital development, Investment, and Value Addition Projects)
The second component of the project is titled Enhancing Welfare and Social Protection Among Families through Social Action and Progressive Support Program and will entail five outputs namely
- Gift A relative, (wedding, birthday, anniversary, graduation, exemplary performance or achievement in life)
- Cash Transfer Program monthly stipend, cash incentives, and unemployment/vulnerability benefit
- Elimisha Familia Research grants, fellowship, scholarship, sponsorship
- Family Medicare insurance cover for up to 150,000 outpatient care and 800,000 inpatient care per year for all family members.
- Family Fitness Program membership to sports clubs, gym, marriage counselling, family counselling, and access to health talks.
The third component is titled Promoting Resilience among Dynamic and Multifaceted Families to Achieve Socio-economic and health prosperity through Long-term Investment in Real Estate and will have five outputs namely
- Promoting delightful distraction through family get togethers (NEWA Family Place)
- Sharing adventures with family for lasting memories, bonds, and ties (Venturesome tours and travel)
- Creating Family wealth for future generations through investment in Land (NEWA Family Complex – a residential and commercial building complex)
- Building family synergies and strengths along diverse social, economic, and academic expertise and experience (NEWA Family Energies)
- Promoting cohesion and family dynamism through events, fun-days, and parties (NEWA EVENTS and STUDIOS)
KINDLY NOTE that the project is open to all members of NEWA Family but it will be competitive and a member must meet the set minimum criteria to get funding or benefit from any of the three outputs of the project.
- The first component of the project is worth 6400 Euros and will run from February 2023 till January 2025.
- The second component of the project will be launched in March 2025 and will be worth 20,000 Euros
- The third component of the project is worth 150,000 Euros and will be launched in March 2027
The target (direct) beneficiaries are Regular members of NEWA Family with new or existing small businesses or ideas that can be run by a family.
Indirect beneficiaries are households, families, and extended families within the NEWA Family domain.
To this end, I could like to remind you to pay your monthly subscription fees, now annual subscription fees in time to be eligible to benefit from this welfare program.
