It has come to our attention that there are numerous news and information circulating over social media sites and carried by some mainstream media houses on both print and broadcast platforms concerning the registration status of Nyikwa Ezra Welfare Association. I would like to state as follows;

1. That Nyikwa Ezra Welfare Association is a family-based association registered under the Registration of Society Act CAP 5 of 2008.

2. That Nyikwa Ezra Welfare Association has always complied with all regulatory and legislative requirements as per its registration certificate.

3. That Nyikwa Ezra Welfare Association upholds integrity and a high level of ethical practice and professionalism while undertaking its activities.

4. That members of Nyikwa Ezra Welfare Association are drawn from the larger third generation of the late Ezra Onyango Nyangalo and no one outside that family tree is eligible for membership.

5. That Nyikwa Ezra Welfare Association encourages its members to carry out themselves with a high level of decorum, respect, and obedience to all laws and government regulations.

6. That the association condemns unethical conduct, illegal acts, and any actions that amount to a violation of its constitution and the laws of the government of Kenya.

7. That the association distances itself from the allegations peddled on both social and mainstream media on its non-compliance with any laws of the government of Kenya or its own constitution.

8. As N.E.W.A, we shall continue serving the interest of our members and operating within the confines of the law, our constitution, and the general principle of trust and ethical practice.
