SILPA AGWA/MINJOHN APPRECIATES HER GRANDCHILDREN
- The senior citizen
who is in her early 90th birthday could not hide her Joy the
moment her name was mentioned during the announcement of the contribution
by Church members.

reacted in disbelief, shock, and joy, a mixture of surprise and gratitude to
her grandchildren.
- In her telephone
conversation, Silpa Agwa urged the Chairperson to ensure that her
grandchildren “always continue with the same spirit and remain together”
- The Chairman requested all members to acknowledge the message from their grandma and live by her wishes.
Silpa Agwa,
or Min-John/Mother as she is commonly known to her acquaintances, villagers,
agemates, and descendants has expressed gratitude and felicitation towards the
unity, love, and harmony that her grandchildren have expressed during the recently
completed Fundraiser.

During the
event, the moderator, Elder Edwin Omondi mentioned that the Ksh. 23,700.00
donated by Silpa Agwa and Leunida Ochieng was the effort of the grandchildren
of the two elderly members of the church.

Agwa reacted in disbelief, shock, and joy, a mixture of surprise and gratitude to
her grandchildren.
In a communication
to members, Jephthah Ochanda, N.E.W.A chairman passed the greetings of grandma
to members, greeting that was warmly received
“Receive
appreciation from Mrs. Silper Agwa to N.E.W.A. Silpa Agwa was happy when she
received the news that you helped her raise such a huge amount within 5 hours”.
The Chairman
echoed the grandma’s message to members
In her
telephone conversation, Silapa Agwa urged the Chairperson to ensure that her
grandchildren “always continue with the same spirit and remain together”
Going by the lengthy phone conversation between the Chairman and Silpa Agwa, it was evident that the latter was very much happy and “VOWED” to always continue praying for her grandchildren.
Grandma
emphasized her desire to see her “grandchildren remain United now and even when
she will be no more in this world”. “She said a word of blessings to every member
of N.E.W.A” The Chairman added.
The Chairman requested all members to acknowledge the message from their grandma and live by her wishes.
